hello fellow officials!! i have a question A1 has the ball in his front court under the basket he attempts a shot but on his way up the ball hits under the basket and he regains control would this be a travel or the play resumes as is with no call.

Good question. I want to say no call because it was a shot attempt. But my gut tells me I would call traveling if I saw it. Whichever way you go, get away from the benches, the coaches will let you have it.

This is not a travel. Top, bottom and sides of backboard are still in. Same as missing shot off rim or front of backboard. It would be counted as an offensive rebound and player can shoot, pass or dribble again.

Rusty, consider this. I think I would call traveling if He jumps up, ball hits bottom of board, but doesn't loose control or fumble the ball and comes down with ball. I also don't think i'll ever see this play.
