I feel bad for what happen to you, but officials were assaulted, threatened, accused of cheating long before you were hit in the face. Just do a search on this site and you will read all the stories long the summer of 2007 when this story originally broke.

Now I hope you filed charges despite the fact that you are "just an official." No one deserves that at all no matter what your profession is.

You're absolutely right, but you know how people tend to view things differently once it happens to them.
I did press charges. No need to feel bad for me or what happened though, I took it like a champ :D
Plus he really assisted in increasing my stock as an official who remains under control at all times.

I do not feel sorry for you, I just want to make sure you can send a message similarly to what the court was doing to Mr. Donaghy. ;)

This is clearly unfortunate and I am not trying to make light of this incident.
