To say that they do it constantly amd consistently though is ridiculous. And to say that they're going to do it constantly and consistently on the "most insignificant of calls" is even more ridiculous.

I like Dan's advice(obviously, because I basically said about the same thing at the same time). If you see something that needs to be called, call it. But don't call everything you see. And imo most D1 officials, and the big dawgs, call it that way.

They are not going to let a greenie cost them games or have their names associated with a game that went bad.

Just saying they will know everything that happens in your primary, and if you let something go, they will make the call.

It is what it is.
So this is how they treated you when you broke in with them?

I'm still trying to figure out what I opined that is so diametrically opposed to what Dan said.

I said if you are a vet working with a green official in his first big game that the vet's vision and coverage will slightly expand and MAY have to come get a call they normally wouldn't get. And for someone to say they would come get calls in front of Jim Burr or Teddy Valentine the same way they would in front of a newbie is not being realistic.

I usually try to leave Dan's opines (and yours) to Dan(and you).

I can get in enough sh!t here with my own opines.

All good except that is not what I've observed...TV jumps out of his primary as much or more than just about anyone...and ofter on 50/50 calls.
