Introduction an stuff.

Hello, I'm totally new to both referee's and this forum's community. I have been a referee for 6 months only and had my 'pitch' debut a few weeks ago. I'd really like to improve as I'm quite sure I made a lot of mistakes , especially about calling fouls. Here's my question then : are there any materials (video, books, casebooks) accessible for free? which might help with interpreting whether to call a foul or not? (I should add that I live in Poland so we 'use' FIBA's rules but a foul is a foul and I doubt it has different meaning in the other rules)

I guess you've never seen an NBA game. BTW - welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, most of us here do not use FIBA rules or resources. There are a few guys here, though, who may be able to help you. Keep checking in and maybe one of them will have some helpful info.

Your best resource may be officials who live near you and can watch you and give you some feedback. Good luck to you in starting out.
