Fellow officials,

I remember this topic being discussed a while back when it was posted, but I am on a mission for my local officials association and I need some help. Some of my association officials are considering going to the air max shoes worn by the D-1 officials. The help I need is what style is the shoe(ex: "nike air metal max), and where can you get them? I have been looking through all the major retailers and have had very little success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John,

I found them at http://www.eastbay.com. I believe they're called tn air max and go for $135 plus shipping.

I went to the website and searched "tn air max" and couldn't find them. I'm not the sharpest arrow in the quiver, but did I miss something?

I found them when I typed in "air max" in the keyword on the eastbay website.

Please help me then. I just went to the site, typed in "air max" and got listings for 107 shoes, none of which was the "tn air max", nor did any of them resemble the shoes that my D1 partners wore.

stripes,

Do you know the full name of the Nike shoe your D-1 partners wore?

John

Sorry I don't. I asked them and they didn't either.

Go to the Eastbay site and type in the product number 03796001. That should take you to the shoe.

Those shoes are slip ons. Do they come with laces? How well do they shine?

I haven't seen any lace ups, but I did ask the people at Leatherluster about using their product on the shoes, and they said that it worked fine as long as you followed the directions. I'm still considering buying them.
