Wow that would hurt. Getting hit by a fast thrown ball. It actually would hurt even more if you were not watching the ball and can cause serious damage.

Verdict is in. School fined $1K and placed on "severe warning status" - they can't screw up in '09 or else.

Looks like the catcher is losing out on this, too. Apparently, he'd been invited as a "preferred walk-on" to a college team. That invitation has been withdrawn.

I heard he enrolled at the Frankfort Undergraduate College of Kentucky.

I have the same problem with my church. It's St. Louis, but I don't know how to pronounce it. LOL
