I am interested in finding out what are the NCAA/NJCAA rules on one officiating a school that they have attended or received a degree from. If you graduated from a school with a degree are you eligible to work that school in the future, can you still work in that school's conference? What are the rules (if they exist) concerning officiating games of a school where you have attended in the past? Any thoughts??

Thanks.

I am guessing that each conference/assignor and each college/university has it's own guidelines.
Recent graduates are probably excluded from conference match-ups with regularity.

Some conferences have written guidelines regarding alumni status and family members attending schools and officials officiating at those schools. Other conferences do not and assignors deal with that issue at their own discretion. I for one played college basketball and am now an official and referee in the conference I use to play in. Essentially, its up to the conference and/or assignor to have some policy set in place for these situations.
