Is anyone watching the NIT Semi-Final game? Why are both teams wearing the same color? Did someone's uniform get left at home or messed up?

This is the wierdest thing I have ever seen.

Peace

Miscommunication

Someone misread a memo.... Syracuse came out in their "Home" White and South Carolina ALSO in their "Home" White.

I am not well-versed in NCAA uniform etiquette, but is seems some "fell asleep at the wheel" here. How embarassing!

I listened to the first few minutes on the radio on the way home, they said someone was headed across town (NY) to the hotel to get Syracuse's orange uniforms. I was surprised they started the game with both wearing white. Now, Syracuse has the orange shirts with white shorts, very ugly.

I guess that explains why I saw an orange man with a white T-shirt with the sleeves hanging out. Even with what happened i am surprised they allowed the white t-shirt.

They used common sense.

I think they were not trying to be a$$holes about it. Syracuse played most of the first half without orange shorts to match the shirts. So there was already a contrast in the color of the uniforms. The put on the uniforms immediately after the orange uniforms arrived. I think the officials were just trying to accomidate and use some common sense. It is not like this is a casebook situation.

JR, i agree and i don't see a problem with the way they handled it. That has to be a tough spot to be in.
