That's a great no call..........
|
Hey, it was only one extra step. Some people would say that's progress. :)
The thing is that it would've been a great move if he'd just shot it before the pivot came back down. It was a really nice "up and under" move, but he put the pivot back down. |

Guys - this entire thread is predicated on the misconception that the NBA has a traveling rule. :D

The game is flowing and both teams are playing. There are times you just have to hold your whistle. The NBA wants highlights!!!!

another reason could be that Delaney is waiting for the Lead to make the call. He probably saw the travel, but holding his whistle because the play is well into L's primary. The L is trained to look upper body and missed the travel. Basket went in... too late to kill the play. Play ON!

Which is why the C/T are and should have taken this right away. I doubt that either was surprised by this travel btw, this is just not a travel that is usually called in this league. |

Agreed. The NBE doesn't have refs anymore; they have traffic cops. Keep 'er moving and ignore the little details, like rules. The NBE....Faaaaaantaaaastic......and no longer bearing any kinda resemblance to basketball. Jmo...and a heckuva lot of others too, Mr. Stern. |

Rookies drafted lower than #10 should beware though. |
