Rules question...
 
A1 is dribbling in his/her frontcourt. B1 bats the ball into Team A's backcourt and the ball bounces in the backcourt. A1 goes back and picks up the ball. When did Team A's ten-second count begin?

When the ball first achieved back-court status.

So the same should apply on a throw-in? A1 has backcourt throw-in and it's deflected by A2 and lands in b/c. We should begin our 10 second count when the ball lands, correct?

No, team control is required for a 10 second count. In the OP, team control was already established and never ended.
