Usually 3 #1 seeds almost always make the Final Four. Unless Kansas cannot get by Illinois (rematch from the same point last year I believe). I think they have the toughest route. At least that is what my poll says.

Major kudos to Mike Wood for calling the intentional toward the end of the Georgia/Illinois game. (And even more congratulations for not T'ing up the GA coach with his repeated "Was that an intentional, Mike?")

However, I'm going to have to make my first whiny fan complaint of the tournament - UConn up one, takes the long three, player barely brushed after he releases the shot (at least from the camera angle CBS showed), and gets the 3 Free Throws. (State's coach was not happy when a similar thing occurred immediately after on the other end).

Yep. And the one I picked to not make it was <i>NOT</i> Cincinnati!

I watched the Georgia/Southern Illinois game closely. Few outside of the Illinois state line have ever heard of SIU so I was very pleased to see them advance!

I was surprised when Mike Wood called that intentional as well. I knew it wouldn't cost Georgia too much because the kid that was fouled averages 40% FT. The Georgia coach knew that too but just wanted to make a fuss. I think Roberts made one of two but was 1 for 5 before he went to the line. Roberts is the Chuck Knoblauch of NCAA. It's pretty hard to throw up an airball from the free throw line but he managed to do it twice that game.

Watch out Connecticut!
