Fan Removed

Last night a fan was removed in Salt Lake City by referee Bob Delaney. At halftime, the man was let back in. The fan, a prominent eye doctor in the city, was also a face painter and held up a sign. TBS cut to him several times during the remainder of the telecast.

I wonder how Delaney felt about a fan he had removed being allowed to return to watch the rest of the game. Since Delaney is a former undercover FBI agent who helped bust an illegal trucking company, I'm sure he wasn't happy with the decision.

The sign was cheering on the Jazz. I pretty sure he was removed for something he said. He could have been holding up a sign somebody else had given him. I'm curious as to why he was allowed to return.

Here, discuss this with these people. They seem to care. We don't.

It was said at half-time that delaney wanted the fan warned... and it was easier for security to remove him to do it. he was back in his seat before half-time. I remember seeing him back in his seat later in the 2nd quater and then after half-time they gave the explanation.

I have a feeling if Delaney really wanted him gone, he'd be gone. IE. They tossed Jack Nickalus a few years ago, and he didn't come back.

Really?

You mean this guy got tossed from a game...
Jack Nicklaus (the golfer)

You sure it wasn't
Jack Nicholson (the actor)...
