I have to admit, I got this from a volleyball official, but I'm sure you guys will have no problem using this in your basketball games.

Ref whistles for a carry violation.
Player/Coach: "That's not a carry!"
Ref: "You're starting a catch-and-release program."

As a fisherman, and retired official, I love it.
