What?!? Seating available for the <B>students</B> that attend the <B>schools</B> that are playing in the Final Four, rather than just the corporate sponsors?!?

Good luck to the schools trying to organize all that and how students will get there. I would do it in a second though.

UCONN Women
 

I just heard this on the radio on the way home from work today. The University of Connecticut is advertising regional game packages including transportation, hotel, and game tickets to the UCONN Women's upcoming games in Greensboro, NC. If UCONN can get this together, so can other schools.

How much is UCONN paying people to attend?

OK. I get your point. UCONN basketball, both mens, and womens, as well as UCONN football, is considered "big time" here in Connecticut. Remember, we're a small state, most people can drive to a UCONN game in less than 90 minutes. We don't have much else in the way of "big time" professional sports since the Hartford Whalers left for the hockey "hotbed" of North Carolina. We don't have much to choose from: the WNBA Mohegan Suns (women's basketball, in the summer, at a casino), Hartford Wolf Pack AHL hockey, a few minor league AA baseball teams (good value for your buck), three "minor league" NASCAR race tracks, the Travelers PGA Championship (no Tiger yet), the Pilot Pen WTA, and ATP Tennis Championship, and not much else.

Davidson will pay way for students to NCAA regionals

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — One of Davidson College's famous perks is the free laundry service for students. Now the school is adding another freebie: watching the Wildcats play in the NCAA tournament's round of 16.
The school's board of trustees set up a fund Wednesday to pay for any student wishing to travel to Detroit to see Davidson play Wisconsin in the Midwest Regional semifinals. Students will get free bus transportation, two nights lodging and a ticket to Friday's game.
Behind sophomore sensation Stephen Curry, Davidson upset Gonzaga and Georgetown last week for the school's first NCAA tournament wins in 39 years.
While the drop-off laundry service and trip to Detroit are free, annual tuition at the exclusive, liberal-arts school is just under $41,000 a year.
