Anybody know a good lawyer

Doing an end of the year girls feeder tournament this past weekend, seventh grade game. Foul on red, red player takes ball looks the other way and discards ball in the corner as I'm waiting for it under the basket six feet from her, I call her number and point to the ball, saying nothing, she retrieves it, I say thank you.

After game Mom approaches me and ask why I did that. Being slow on the uptake, I start to respectfully explain and am met with "Next time you do that, I sue you"

Have a good day Ma'am.

Wow. I would have laughed at her, assuming she was joking.

Tell her good luck with that. As a lawyer, people who makes those comments need to be punished. It is ruining our country.

My response: "For what? Trying to teach your daughter some sportsmanship?"

It wasn't egregious, She knew what she did wrong( I hope, as her mother didn't have a clue). I mentioned it to the coach who couldn't believe it, siding with me.

Probably just my Catholic upbringing, as a kid, I was always guilty until proven innocent if any authority figure said anything to my parents.

"Get over here, Sister Mary Agnes just called and you're in a heap of trouble.".........
