Electronic Timers

Not sure what the exact name of them are, but I was curious to get anyone's thoughts on the timers that are kept on your pants during games. See them all the time in college and pro, but not sure if they're used all that much in high school. Do they help with any timing issues? Do they just give you one more thing to keep track of? Any thoughs would be welcome.

Called Precision Time.

I don't think they're necessary for high school games, such as important games like state finals. (Kidding.)

Check these threads out, where it is being discussed or has proof for video needed in these games.

When I was a kid, my mom used to put a timer on my pants when I went to the bathroom. :p

My mom tried that with me once. She ended up with a wet timer. :D
