Thumbs up Good read

bard,
Interesting... spirit and intent resurfaces.
From U.P. here it looks like the Assistant had it coming.

We all know what it is like to listen to a coach....dare I say Howler Monkey....all game long.

This is what happens when one has to listen all season long

They rather subtly implied the assistant had been warned. I don't think we'll see him off his seat during the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments!

When you look at teh replay it looks as if the asst. was asked to sit and then went to sit but hesitated in spite and that is when he got whacked.

I had the same situation happen to me last week. I was being berated by both the head and assistant coach after a no call by my partner. It was a 35 point game and this play was in no way going to decide the outcome. I whacked the assistant for standing up. The only difference in my situation is I didn't give any warning.

Quoted from the article: "We do at times feel there's a need for corrective action, but that is always done in private and is never made public," Falk said. "That's a conference rule."

I would like to have been a fly on the wall when the observer talked to these guys. I wonder if their supervisor made Gray write ten things to say to defuse a coach?
