I decline to call a foul because I couldn't determine that either player did anything out of the way to cause the contact and rule it incidental. A1's coach questions the play and I ask him if B1 was the player to go down would he expect me to call it on his player. That caused him to stop and ponder the answer while I quickly put the ball back into play.

I know it is usually a foul on the defense when the offense gets tripped up, but in this case, do you think it should have been called.
probably no foul

Difference ???

"There's a difference between being tripped, and tripping."

I probably say this line to a coach once, or twice, each season.

Wait a minute. I don't think that I've ever seen this statement on the Forum before.

Sorry zebra44. You've been a Forum member a lot longer than me. For legal purposes, in good faith, I did not know that this statement was yours, therefore, again, for legal purposes:

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. If you have a problem with that, then your people will have to get in touch with my people.

I've used the words, but never on this forum. Only to a coach, and only a couple of times.

Hey, Mick. Hope all is well.
