A compliment - I think
 

Saturday, the Board President of our local kids rec league came up to me after a game to discuss a problem coach. He asked me if I would work this coach's game next week. I said sure. He said that he was asking me to do it because he knew that after I worked his game, they would never have a problem with the guy again. He then smiled and said that's because after having me as a referee, the guy would probably kill himself. :D

I took it as a compliment.

BTW - that evening, in another league, I had a 7th grade girls team from Molalla. Boy, that was close. ;)

We expect a follow up post next Saturday night.
