Totally Off-Topic: Nice weather today

Very cold last night, so I made classic winter dinner: ham and bean soup, and french apple pie for dessert.

And then today, sunshine, blue sky, flowers blooming, birds singing, and I'm out there doing yard work.

Oregon has a lot of rain (which I don't mind at all), making the occasional really lovely day really welcome. Especially when almost everyone else in the country is floundering in snow and mud.

Take that, Aloysius!!

Thanks for the weather report Juulie. Next after the break is Biff with sports.

I know, Juulie. It was refreshing. I actually drove around with my windows down. Of course now, our one day a year without rain is over.

TimTaylor Wed Feb 20, 2008 01:47am

Yeah Juulie, but it didn't last. As I was leaving Central Catholic atfer my early game it was starting to drizzle...

Oklahoma is known for sudden weather swings, but today was absolutely beautiful. Of course that probably means tomorrow will have snow and 20 degree temps in store. Glad to see the nice weather wasn't limited to just us.

After shoveling snow for the 14th day in a row, jumping in the loader and not going over the hill I made myself a shot and a beer, and opened a bag of peanuts.:)

We had a nice 74 degree day in northern VA on Monday. Looking for possibly 2" of accumulation starting somewhere around noon today.:(

Ah, one of those very rare good days. Enjoy, Dave. They don't happen that often.

For those that weren't aware of it, Dave holds not only the U.P. but the Olympic records in both the free-style and slalom front-end loader downhill races.

Actually Charles and Biff came to an understanding about their relationship in their senior year. This summer they are gong to China to adopt a baby.

I know you've been waiting a long time to hear this, but you've finally earned it.

Shut up. :p
