At least she didn't cut his carotid artery.

Ouch!

We've all walked into players while looking the wrong direction, but to get kicked in the head is a new one.

I'll now remember to look both ways before crossing.:D

All I wanna know is: how many "cheerleader" videos did Larks wade through to find that one? :D

That game is being played at Abilene Christian University so it was probably some sort of tournament.

So do we have a kicking violation, incidental contact or flagrant T here? :D

Mark Padgett Mon Feb 18, 2008 12:59pm

Notice that she just walked away. Maybe she thought no one saw it.

A payback for a disliked call? Sheesh, these coaches find all kinds of methods to get back at us!

Start the conspiracy theories!!

As many of you know, Mark, Jr. started officiating basketball this year, and he was running down the sideline in a boys' 8th grade game when a cheerleader on the sideline just missed his head with a high kick. I was officiating with him but he said the it happened in the first couple minutes of the game.

Mick:

Junior, or Version 2.0 as he likes to say, is 5'-11" two inches taller than Version 1.0.
