Media at it again

End of Tennessee v Rutgers women, clock stopped at .2, ESPN is going nuts that the clock keeper stopped it before the official raised his hand...well dummies the officials are wired up using precision time and that is why the clock stopped.

I am going to have to disagree with you. If they blew a foul, they never put their arm up. And the lead officials never blew his whistle until after the Tennessee player shot and the clock for some reason stopped at .2 and even looked like it might have stopped on other time briefly before that. PTS is not the only way the clock stops. It stops either by the whistle or the clock operator. I think the Tennessee clock operator was being a little quick on the trigger.

Peace

After the clock stopped. It is possible that she blew her whistle and did not put up her hand, but that is not the way I saw it live. Even live I was wondering, "Why is the clock stopped?" And no I was not looking at the ESPN Clock.

Peace

The clock is still operated the same by the clock operator the same to catch a malfunction if the whistle does not stop the clock. The same applies on the start of the clock. Who ever gets to the button first, starts the clock. It is not all based on what the official does.

Peace
