Anybody heard this before?

Not sure where this originated, but I find it applicable in our job.

The perception of impropriety is far worse than actual impropriety, because it is infinitely more prevalent.

Not sure about the "infinitely" part (are there really an infinite number of perceptions about impropriety?), but we say the first part of that sentence quite often on this forum. Just check most threads about "conflict of interest" and you'll see it.

Did you know that there are infinitely many "sizes" of infinity? Just for two: there are more real numbers than natural numbers.

Anyone for a quick game of 'non sequitur'?

I have simply always been told that perception is more important than reality.

It depends on the perception. The truth is in the eye of the beholder.... right??...

No, truth is absolute. Perception of truth is subjective.

Now, on a block/charge, perception is in the eye of the beholder ;)
