The men's USC-UCLA game will be broadcast on TV today at 12:30 pm PST. If anyone is going to watch it, and knows how to open one of those chat rooms that we had last year during March Madness, and would do that, please post instructions here. I'd like to watch it with all y'all, and discuss it, but I don't have the technical savvy to make it work by myself. Thanks.

No, that's the advantage of rain, it sort of takes care of itself.

So is anyone watching? It's more interesting than good. Both teams really sloppy, and a couple of really badly missed dunk attempts. OJ Mayo not shooting very well, and not very much, and the announcers seem to think that's an advantage for USC! Kevin Love (local boy) to doing well, but one really stupid Shaq- back-down foul, opponent goes flying!

Announcers aren't Billy Packer or Verne Lundquist but just as stupid or perhaps even worse. One oob call, ball was bouncing all over among several players, flies oob, trail whistles, looks at lead to get color right, announcer says, "Whoa! The ref didn't even see the play!" Sheez.

Okay, I was wrong, it is Packer/Lundquist. But it's still them at their worst.

And the first John Cougar Mellencamp/Chevy blah, blah blah, didn't come until after half-time. Thank goodness. I hope it was the only one. I'M SICK OF IT!!!

We have Tenn - ohio state on CBS and NC - Maryland on ABC here in NE Ohio. Both 3 point games with about 10 minutes remaining.

I was listening to this one on the radio on my way home from a game. Diebler missed 2 3-pointers in the last 45 seconds or so that would have tied the game.

Knowing Diebler, he had a reason for missing those shots on purpose.

Mere mortals such as myself simply cannot comprehend those reasons. Yet.
