Yeah I saw it was there last year, but I didn't know if it was there every year. Seems like I've seen it advertised as being in St. Louis before too. Springfield works better for me anyway. I'm thinking about going this year.

I've never been to Gerrys camp but have talked with him about it at some MVC camp stuff. Its for younger officials looking to advance at whatever level they want to advance too. I've heard its one of the best around (Souther Missouri area) for guys to go in and get straight forward answeres and try and develop their game with not all of the presure of the big name d1 refs watching.

If you live in Florida the JB Caldwell camp is very good. It is especially designed for newer people It is in Daytona in july. JB is a hoot and has lots of stories and a great support staff.
I got to work one game last summer with Eric Lewis (NBA) doing the evaluation,, what at thrill. He said I was NBA material, I think he meant fodder on the floor!! |
