Reporter Turned Official Update
 

A few weeks ago I posted a link to a story about a reporter who took the officiating class and passed the test. He has done a few games, and though many pointed out his chopping time on jump ball error, he has continued to do a game here or there.

Tomorrow's 'there' happens to be the JV game prior to the varsity game I have tomorrow. Should be interesting.

Make sure he spells your name correctly if he mentions you in the next article.

What was his chopping time on jump ball error?

Maybe he chopped off one of the player's heads? :eek:

Well, the games were postponed. So, I will have to see if the re-scheduled games have the same crews. So, now I have to resort to wisecracks on message boards.:(
