Hmmmmmmm, Dan_Ref...were you possibly thinking of a PC airborne shooter foul after the ball went in the basket?

The ball would be dead when it went through the basket, then the airborne shooter crashes into the defender which has a legal spot on the floor. (NF)

How's that? (I mean how do ya like me now? ;) )

I like it, and I like you too! :)

But, don't listen to me, according to the delay thread, I don't know the rules.

...A personal foul also includes contact by or on an airborne shooter when the ball is dead.

Nope Slider...unless the foul by the defender was intentional or flagrant...you ignore it because of the dead ball.

RookieDude --

Better reread the rule book. Slider and (someone else -- I forgot who) got it right. If the shooter is still airborne, then fouls on or by him/her are personal fouls even after the ball is dead.

Just curious, has anyone ever seen the dead ball foul. Can Air Jordon stay in the air long enough until after the ball goes through the hoop?

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! Now I see. Ok, I don't remember that being on any tests recently, tho.

Absolutely! On each and every sucessful dunk, the shooter is airborne after the ball is dead.
