My rule books are buried in the back seat and its too cold to go out and get them.

Team A has 7 team fouls. A1 is inbounding. A2 fouls B1 before the ball is inbounded.

I have B1 shooting a one-and-one. My partner says no, its a team control foul -- no shots.

I defer to the veteran.... but I don't think I should have.

No team control on throw-in. Shoot the free throws.

That's an NCAA rule. As JAR stated, there's no team control during throw-in in Fed rules.

How in the H*ll do you get the rules found so fast to support your posts? I'm assuming that you have some dvd or computer program with the rules and cases from the last 20+ years. I would be interested in purchasing software that has the rules, case plays etc. can you direct me to your source?

There are two reasons:
1. From posting on this forum over the past five years, I have become rather familiar with where certain things are in the books. I have a good memory for the headings and comments.

2. ARS rules study. It's awesome. It's indexed. It's searchable.
