One of my best friends is an officer of the Mid-Coast Officials Association. The MCOA assigned the offials for that game and I will email him and get the real story about what happened at this game (Titusville H.S. at Cocoa H.S./boys varsity).

Because of his business it may not be until early next week until I get an answer but as far as I am concerned, any posting about this story without speaking to the source is not good information.

I was hoping that someone on this forum would be able to get the real facts. I came across this on HickoryHusker.com. After reading the threads you really can't tell for sure what happened. I'm hoping you will update this thread once you get the facts.:)

There's a ton of these fanboy forums infesting the net. And every damn one of 'em has interminable threads about how the mean ol' officials screwed their favorite team.

And we'll also get 'em showing up here in March when the NCAA's start. And again when the NBA playoffs start. Same old, same old. Nothing ever changes.

I am officially old. A lady at church referred to me as an "old family friend".

The three times when I felt I had become "officially old."

1. I was in my twenties and couldn't convince some of the local high school kids
that it was not necessary to call me sir.

2. I was riding through a college campus, and the girls all looked like kids.

3. One of the moms of a boy in the same age group as my son addressed me as
sir.

Good idea. Turn the kids toward music. Less violence there.

While I was happy to see UM win their bowl game I take exception to your remark about OSU representing the Big 10. At least the Buckeyes made it to the Big Game.
