Stripes33 Varsity boys game last night I'm the trail and the home team is losing by 6 with 3 minutes left in 4th quarter. Home team has 3 team fouls and is fouling to get to the bonus. Right in front of visitor bench and scorers table I have a foul on home team. I turn to report and see the offensive player toss the ball up into the defenders face, definately not an accident. I let the player know that we weren't going to have any behavior like that the rest of the game but the more I think about it, the more I think I should have whacked the kid. Any thoughts?
chartrusepengui Whack the kid to let him know you weren't going to allow any of that type of behavior for the rest of the game. Best way to make him understand!
FrankHtown I agree he should have been whacked. However, what happened before the foul? Did the offensive player get hit 2 or 3 times before the foul was called? When it's obvious the strategy is to foul, get the first one, so things don't escalate.

Got to "WHACK" him. If you don't then you might ended up with a huge mess if the player decided to retaliate!!!
