Can you see me? Not really.

What the heck are you doing that far downstate?🙂

I grew up in this area for about 25 years of my life. Quincy is about an hour from where my Mom currently lives. I come down here periodically to work games because I am asked on occasion to do so. And considering that I was going to work one of the most interesting games in the entire state (second time the two teams played in 35 years and we did the game last year), this was a no-brainer.

I see ya' Rut. How tall are you? For some reason, I always thought of you as being about 6'4" or so.

I am around 6'0" or so. I would not consider that tall. 🙂

He's like Jon Diebler. His persona is much more formidable than the mere physical trapping.

PS Good to see you Jeff, however fleeting!

Looks like a fun game!

Rivalry Rejected--33 seconds in the video

Here is a game I worked Saturday that is involved in this story. You can see me about at the 33 second mark on the video singling a 3 point shot.

Link is corrected.

Smart move, there's so little to see, we can't critique you!

I have a sneaky suspicion we worked a scrimmage together at O'Neil's camp.

If it was you, it was my best game due to my two partners.........🙂

Well the game was on live TV. Believe me I got critiqued by many people watching the game live or seeing the replay. I was the Referee and the TV feed wanted to hear my pre-game meeting speech. I did not know this until right before the meeting. Fun times were had by all. I will remember this game my entire career. This game is certainly a highlight of the year for me.

Hopefully you can grab a tape of the game and burn a DVD. I was going to joke about the crowd size on par with my girls games:rolleyes: . That gym looked like it was rockin'.

There was around 2400 people standing room only. One of the biggest crowds they ever had from what I understand. Last year there were around 4500 people in the other team's gym. I have not seen crowds like that at many games period let alone any one gender outside of playoff games.

I have gained a little weight over the last few years. It seems like it is a little muscle other than fat. I am trying to get a little more cut. It is not working right now. 😉

HA...you know what they say...Ya'll look alike! 😀

Looks like a fun game Rut, glad you had a good time officiating that one....That was a big crowd, but not for HS round my parts here in Central Indiana...Chrysler Arena in New Castle, IN seats close to 9K IIRC....

Try 122,000 for a HS football game in Chicago.

What game had a 122,000 during a HS game? They do not even hold that many in any college football stadium in America or any college stadium for that matter.

It was at Soldier Field. Soldier Field also has the record for largest attendance for a college football game.

I found a link

That being said, these are unofficial numbers. And considering the size of Solder field, I think that was a pretty hefty estimate.
