Toward the end, one of the players on the team that was losing by about 15 looks at me and with an innocent expression, asked, "Why are we losing?"

I said, "Maybe because you haven't made as many baskets as they have?"

He loved it.

A player asks a legitimate question in a polite way, and you give a reasonable answer. Sounds like good game management!:D

I would have said, "If you really don't know, that's probably the reason." :rolleyes:
