It could also be this shirt. I own one and it is remarkable. I did not pay for it, which makes it better. http://www.ump-attire.com/Merchant2/...roduct_Count=0

Does anyone know what The Official's Choice's return policy is? I'm thinking about getting a shirt to try it out, but they don't offer "tall" shirts. My experience in purchasing shirts tells me that if I don't buy a "tall" shirt, my shirt will ALWAYS untuck during the course of the game!

They want $7.95 to ship a shirt that costs $10.95?? Stuff it in an envelope and put a stamp on it! Still cheaper than everywhere else, but that does make it a heck of a lot less of a deal....need to order two or three minimum to really take advantage...

I was going to order a shirt last night, but then saw the $7.95 shipping fee and cancelled my order. If the shipping rate was around $4.00 I would have placed the order. Like you said, a lot less of a deal.

Like I said I agree that it is still cheaper than the other places, but I love the hook, "HEY LOOK AT US OUR SHIRTS ARE ONLY $10.95!!" then in fine print, oh yeah we are jacking you up on S&H....that said I will still order from there, but probably in quantities of no less than 3...

All I ever look at is the TOTAL price. Retail has numerous marketing ploys to get your attention.....50% off (first one only)....75% off (to the first 10 customers)....Free (when purchased with XYZ/activation plan).

In fact a common eBay tactic is to price stuff really low and have the shipping/handling high. This guarentees the seller a minimun net revenue without having to use a reserve auction or list it at a high starting price (which discourages activity) and also reduces the eBay listing fees since they're not based on shipping/handling but only on the sales price.

For the shirts, it may be that sales tax is charged only on goods in some states but not on services (shipping). As a result, the more that is shifted to shipping, the more is saves the buyer.

7.95 shipping and handling is par for the course. Everyone does it.

Yeah, I know. When in Rome. But 4" stripes would be extreme. There's nothing extreme about this shirt.

Big? Not really. Quite comfortable.

I have both. The OC shirt is the better shirt.

You won't have any trouble with length. I'm 6'4", and so are both of my regular partners. The shirt has plenty of length.

I beat these guys up three years ago because they used to charge $10 a shirt to ship. They evidently got the message.

I've ordered 12 shirts since the season started. I'll take orders from others and order 5 or 6 at a time. Cuts down on the shipping.

Both times I ordered, they were shipped DHL 2-Day shipping. My bigger problem was with DHL and December issues. They were swamped but that should be an issue now.

Honigs MINIMUM S&H IS $6.95, I don't care what you buy. I'm only 60 miles from their closest outlet but it's still $6.95 via UPS. Don't get me wrong, I love Honig's. But $7.95 for DHL is not out of line.

And it's a better shirt!
