Since the season is quickly coming to an end, that means that the AAU season is just around the corner. What do officials in areas of the country get for working these games?

I would like your input, as we are getting ready to meet with the people in charge of our leagues and need some legitimate numbers to help get a raise.

Currently they are wanting to pay about $30 per game, be it either 2 or 3 person. This means that the officials are making $10-$15 per game, which is way too low for off season stop clock games.

In SoCal we get $22-26 a game. Of course I have to interrupt my day at the beach or desert or mountains...

When my son comes home this weekend from Bellingham, WA he will have to choose among 70 degrees at the beach, snowboarding at the local mountains or a day in the desert (all just a 45 minute drive)

So for $22-26 I get to daydream about...

We get $25 - $28 (depending on age level) per official, 2-person crew. BTW, I am in the northern VA area and there is an absolute ton of AAU games here. We start AAU in about 3 weeks.

We're getting $20/game (two man) for an AAU tournament this weekend in Dayton, OH.
