Thought I was in the wrong forum...

Some guy on the mortgage board I frequent used the "wait for it..." phrase. But, he did not follow up with "the SEC", so I remembered where I was.

I read your post, closed the thread and then came back.

There is a forum for mortgages? What are some topics discussed on a regular basis?

26 Year Gap Wed Dec 12, 2007 08:47pm

What kinds of programs are available, what companies are good or bad to work for, what types of brokers are good to work with, and then there are the nonsensical threads. People go there to ask questions on how to do certain types of loans. There is helpful advice and wisecracks. See how a guy could get confused?

Are there questions about what constitutes an automatic foreclosure, vs. when to use judgement?

Are there questions about applicants, and whether you would give them the "stop sign" when they turn in their application?

Are there discussions about how mortgages are different based upon different areas of the country?

Is there a poster over there named (This) Old School?

Hmm...I can understand the confusion.

No, but I may post the link to the picture. They don't allow pictures. Mark would be totally lost, I must say.

Are there questions about applicants, and whether you would give them the "stop sign" when they turn in their application? In a sense, yes. And we have given the stop sign to some posters trying to sneak stuff through fraudulently.

Are there discussions about how mortgages are different based upon different areas of the country? Yes, but mostly due to mortgage loan limits that have made the use of exotic mortgages in areas such as CA where there is more of a problem.

Is there a poster over there named (This) Old School? There are guys who remind me of him. Prove them wrong and they go down another rabbit trail.

Hmm...I can understand the confusion.

There are a couple of us that post youtube videos that fit each situation. The mod bans people for life including IP addresses. Not sure the squirrel link would fly.
