just wondering what you guys do when this happens. Varsity game, I show up, I'm on the floor 15 mins before the game. My partner and I comment on how there is only one team out there. So game managment goes and double checks....no team. We only had one team warm up, so I instruct the timer to set the clock for 20 minutes. CLock winds down... I go home. My question is, what policy does your association have for no shows?

The school pays the bill and we get paid for the game. We were there and ready to go. Our personal calendar was occupied during that time making us unavailable for other (family) activities.

We would get paid for the game also as well as the mileage if not given adequate advanced notice.

Look at your contract. In OH, our contracts are specific, your duties end 30 minutes after the scheduled start time unless the visiting teams calls to say they will be late.

Then you get paid and a early night @ home.

Ya, unfortunatly we do not use contracts indvidually.
