Puke on Shoes??

I'm fairly new to these boards and want to ask a question about the "puke on shoes" comments. I think they are hilarious, but I get the feeling that there's more to it. Is there an "inside" thing or hidden meaning there within this officiating forum board or the officiating community in general? I've been reffing awhile, but haven't come across this. Sorry if it's been asked/answered before...just wanted to be "let in on the joke!"
