Ever lost sleep over a game?

I can think of a few times that I went home after a game and played a particular scenario in my head, over and over, wondering if I got it right.
Watching the clock all night and realizing I had let it eat me up. The best thing I have have found for this is get back on the court as soon as possible.

My wife always knows when I've had a bad night or when I have second guessed one of my calls for the night. The next morning she'll ask me how the game was last night. The one you played in bed.

I have lost sleep because the adrenaline from the game is still high when I get home. I would not say I have lost sleep because of a bad game. I think it just comes down to the fact I know when I get home the game has to be over. This is why I like to talk out situations with my crew after the game and in some cases going out to eat or attend an officiating social. So when I get home the game has already been settled in my mind.

Peace

I've never lost sleep over a game. That's because I sleep during the games and it balances out.:p

I've been dissappointed with some calls I've made or failed to make - as in I shoulda T'd and tossed a coach last yr in WRECK ball and I didn't. His team ended up winning the game in OT.....that ate at me for a while. But, I didn't lose any sleep.

Game is over. It ain't life and death. Let's move on.

If she has to ask, it probably wasn't very good ;)
