You CAN go home again. . .

Actually, "home" came to him, but Tommy Amaker's Harvard team beat Michigan last night by 11. And it wasn't padded by free throws at the end, either.

He played at Duke & coached at Michigan. I guess I'll forgive the guy for making two bad choices.

Saw the final 3 minutes. TA wanted to bust out a huge smile at the end but he kept it somewhat small!

How far has the UM program fallen.... Good win for the kids from Harvard...

Tommie Amaker is too much of a class act to be a head coach in a major D1 conference.

Some would say that Amaker is directly responsible for the current state of the Michigan basketball program. They wouldn't even be surprised that he could go to another school and then beat Michigan with those players given the state in which he left that program.

So should he be praised for the job that he is doing at his new location or criticized for the mess that he left at his old one?

IIRC, wasn't it the penalties handed down on the program from back in the Fab 5days that doomed UM under Amaker. While he never had an elite recruiting class, he did alright there...kind of hard to recruit when you have the dark cloud looming over you...

Wouldn't they have made the tourney one year but had the post season ban?
