Varsity practice/shoot-around during JV game

Double header of JV prior to double header of Varsity. At halftime of the second game of the JV double header, Varsity women team takes the court to shoot around (both teams in locker room).

Is there any restrictions that would prohibit the Varsity women from practicing during this time as long as they left the court before the JV men returned to the court for the second half?

The Varsity women would be playing the next game.

Not really. But the team has the right to practice on the court and that takes precedent over the players that are not playing the actual game being on the court. This is one of those things you just have to tell the players to move when the other team comes out (usually that is not necessary).

Peace

That is up to game administration. Who they allow on the floor at halftime is their decision. They could have a ceremony or some halftime entertainment. It is of no concern to the official.

As far as I can tell, there is no right to practice during the halftime period. There is only an allowance for it and a prohibition of it during all other dead ball periods.
