Foul at end of Villanova/NC St game

Wow, I only got to see one quick replay, but if what the studio guy said is true, then this play is going to cause some heat!

Anyone see the play and have an opinion?

In real time, I thought there could have been something, but from the three replays I saw, I didn't see much of anything there. Also - Was it the L that called the foul? If so, I've never seen anything like that when the covering outside official is on top of the play, as he was in that situation.

That's the WOW. This was a 3pt try from directly in front of the Center official, who did not have a foul, and the LEAD came out and made that call.

I did this while at my first 3-man camp, but T instead of C. Oooops. In my case, the shooter was hit in the head, but evaluator told me to let the T live and die with the call. That was 9 years ago.

I guess NCAA guys are human, too.

They'll definitely be talking about that one. It didn't look like much of anything from the replays I saw. From where the L was, I can only assume maybe he saw something else. That's a tough one at the end of a close game like that.

I honest believe from the reaction of the calling official he was not totally sure of the call.
