Who and what happened to Bhuck Elics?

Apparently, he just officiated the Hartford - Quinnipiac game, won by Quinnipiac 85-79. How good can the guy really be since this game went into double overtime!!!!!

Also, there's not really a school named "Quinnipiac", is there? It looks like a typo.

Sure is... It is one of the fine overpriced institutions of higher learning here in the Nutmeg State. And one of my son's choices for that matter. If he goes there, I am going to need a lot more games and I'll be living in a van down by the river...

I think that instead of using the nickname "Bobcats" they should call themselves the "Goldthwaits". Then the fans could really scream.

I think he is at Dartmouth tomorrow. Just finishing up our first snowstorm of the season and since most of the state trucks haven't had their plows put on, I am probably not going the 2 hours each way to the game.

Is it true, is it true!?

Nevadaref Sat Nov 17, 2007 04:13am

No, that's not true. The coach said that the refs were giving his team the short end of it. :D

BTW I think that one gets a little taller due to standing up a little bit straighter once one makes it to the D1 level. ;)

Jurassic Referee Sat Nov 17, 2007 09:12am

Has anybody ever met Bhuck's brother, Charles?

http://scores.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=273200108

Charles is the shorter one........

Mark Dexter Sat Nov 17, 2007 11:04am

Quinnipiac is a real school. I have several friends who attended it and I've been to confrences there.

As for Bhuck Elics, I sure hope he doesn't show his face on this message board.

You have friends?

When did this happen?

BktBallRef Sat Nov 17, 2007 12:09pm

C'mon guys...it's time to lay off. Other posters want to know who Bhuck Elics is and I'm here to tell them. His real name is .....

What's under that robe, Bhuck? :D

How pusillanimous of you!
