player has fouled out of the game in the first half. in the second half the coach puts him back in the game undetected by anyone. he plays for 3 minutes and scores 4points in that time. the scorer then enforms the ref what has happened. charge a direct tech to the head coach and remove the player.. does the points scored in that time count?

Correct on administrating the T. Points scored by player should be nullified

10-5-4; 2-10-5

Direct T on the coach as truerookie said. However, I would keep the points on the board. The correctable error cited does not deal w/ this issue.

4-19-5d, 10-5-4, Direct T on coach
2-10-1e may allow for the cancelling of the last points scored if it falls within the 2-10-2 time for recognizing the error.

Not applicable. It isn't one of the correctable errors. The situation doesn't fall under those. Nothing changes in the scorebook.

Case book play 10.5.4(b) is the exact play.

I kicked the counting the points I looked at 2-10-5 instead of looking further at 2-11-5 note#2

I believe in NCAA, the player is charged with a Flagrant Technical foul (as opposed to whacking the Coach in NFHS). And any points they score while in the game do count.

Thanks. I didn't know if it was or not.

You are correct. It is a Flagrant T under NCAA rules
