JRutledge No cuffs unless you like that kind of thing. Just make sure you have a safety word. 😀 Peace

Reffin' Sgt eyezen wroteDefinitely no cuffs. There was a thread a while back on this with the advice from JRut (I think) that I took. Do not get your pants tailored like regular pants, get what they call a military hem. Your pants should lay straight when you stand up, not sorta bunch at the bottom like normal. The military hem will allow that because it's hemmed higher in the front than in the back. Me thinks you're a military imposter...or I had my military pants hemmed the wrong way for 24 years. My military dress pants were always longer in the back and the front barely touched the top of the shoe with a slight crease. No cuffs, you might get a shoe caught in them and fall down and go BOOM!!! 😮 dh

tjones1 I like the cuffs for dress. On the court, no way, imo. By the way, Monday is opening night for me. Can't wait! Plus, I get to hang out with M&M on Thursday.
tomegun Have any of you ever seen referee pants with the little slit on the outside - about .5"? It allows the pants to go over the shoe better I guess. I know a few guys up in DC who have them and I might try it. It isn't really obvious, but I guess it works for them.

I usually do the "military cut." That works from my point of view. Peace

It stems from a fashion trend young people still use today. I have used it on my pants and it works very well. It's easy to do as well. Sew across the seam .5" up the outer side and split the threads where the fabric comes together. No one will notice and it will fall around your shoes wonderfully. Kristoffer

Peace Oh, it goes without saying that the military cut works. This method is used with the military cut. I have been going through an ordeal with my pants. Have you ever had a tailor who thinks they know what you want before you tell them and doesn't let you get a word in? Oh boy. I had to wear an old pair of pants to my game last night because this lady just doesn't get it. She also tried to say I told her some things about when I needed them and when I would pick them up - blatant lies. She is going to fix one more pair of pants she butchered and then we will part ways.
