to show the consistent whiners what verticality looks like, and what they look like when they go up (out-of-control-&-determined-to-draw-a-foul) against a vertical defender.

and for the little-kid games, I'm going to start carrying a picture with me -- ten ducks on a pond going after the same piece of bread crust. I'll show it to the coaches when they complain that their kids are getting hit while rebounding in the paint.

It ain't gonna change; it ain't gonna get better. They've been making the same ol' complaints since the first peach basket was hung. It's just something that goes with our job. Hang in there.

Speaking of Ducks - did anyone notice the U of Oregon had three (count 'em - three) 100 yard rushers against Washington last Saturday? That's really amazing. Oh yeah - they had 665 total yards on offense. I guess you guys didn't know that Oregonians could be so offensive. Or maybe you did. :)
