As posted previously, here is verbatim from the most recent Kansas State publication "2007-2008 Basketball Announcements".

COACHING BOX
"The head coach may:

1. Stand to instruct (coach) then,
2. Sit down
3. Not kneel, squat, pace or stand during a live ball."

Pretty clear to me how they define "coaching".
