Pleated vs. Flat Front
 

seeing all those pants sale ads on here I was wondering.. Do you wear flat front pants or pleated??

Please don't tell me we're also going to get into the boxers vs. briefs discussion. If that's where this is going, I'll start talking about my compression shorts.

BTW - why are briefs like a small hotel? :rolleyes:

Oh yeah - to answer your question - plain front exclusively. Pleated pants look too much like something out of the 1940s, which can be cool if you're talking about Rita Hayworth, but not about pants.

Oh really, I thought Pleated was the going style..... man this game is tough to keep up with. :) and you have to know the rules? wha tha .....

I prefer the pleated fronts. I also thought those were the "in" look..

Actually pleated would be the "look of the day"...flat front is something out of the 70's, which can be cool if we are talking about The Eagles or Kansas, but not clothes.

I agree, pleated pants are *today*, just like throw-back uniforms are popular *today*. They are designed to keep us boomers in the comfort zone.

This reminds me of why a dog is hotter in summer than in winter...in the winter it just has a coat, but in the summer, it has a coat and "pants." :D

How about some nice pleated pants with cuffs from WalMart? They are almost as cool as the black jeans! I swear I've seen them both on a basketball court . . .

I like the flat fronts. Pleats make it look like "everything" is sticking out. The slicker I look, the better!

I hope the Kansas remark was about the group, not the state! Our officials wear overalls! Seriously, pleated is the more professional look. And stay away from courderoy (believe it or not a guy showed up at a JV game like that. White shoes too).
