NEW: NCAA creates a Casebook

http://www1.ncaa.org/eprise/main/pla...PreviewState=0

"The NCAA intends to create a case book for the first time in 2008. The following links will take you to the approved rulings that currently appear in each chapter of the 2007 Men's and Women's Basketball Rules Book."

So the new 2008 rules book is now available online and contains no approved rulings. Just as the NFHS does, all of these will now be found in the Casebook.

Does anyone have any opinions?

Um, how do you really feel Jeff? :D

So, they took out the A.R's out of the rule book, and put them into a second book that has to be purchased separately? What's the advantage to that? (Other than less money in my pocket?)

True, I am for one book, case plays right there. Even if the book is twice the size, I would rather purchase one book then two. Not to mention, I either misplaced or someone got off with my 2006-07 rulebook, but I still have my casebook. That will do me a lot of good. Damn....

If they expand on the AR's to make a full-blown case book with hundreds of cases, that's a bonus for us.
