Scary rules comparison

You guys think sometimes basketball rules are confusing? Here's a line I found on the rugby forum:

"Saw lots of great rugby and some interesting non-calls by refs. For example, "not in straights" on line-outs were almost never called at all levels of play, similarly, I didn't see too many "hands in" in rucks called."

Next time someone criticizes the rule book, just count your blessings you don't have to put up with that stuff.

BTW - does anyone know if the rugby rulebook is written in metric?

I had a "hands in" called on me once.

As I recall, her father wasn't too happy.

That's what you get for bragging to him about it later.

It’s also a penalty if the hooker has an early foot during the put-in by the scrum-half.:)

No wonder that guy in Vegas went to the Mustang Ranch after his little Rugby game. The two seem to go hand-in-hand.

That's better than not recalling anything. :D

How could rugby not be a LOT more popular if there are hookers in every game? :D

You have to wonder about a sport where a bunch of guys put their arms around each other, bend over at the waist, and put your head next to the butts of all the guys around you.;)
