Off topic - suggestion for Vick shoes

There was a letter in The Oregonian newspaper today talking about how a lot of stores are upset because Nike has ended it's Michael Vick endorsement deal and now they don't know what to do with their inventory of Vick shoes. The writer suggested they donate them to their local ASPCA chapter to use as chew toys for dogs.

As the beer commercials say, "BRILLIANT". :)

Unfortunately, the reality of it is that the shoes will probably become collector's items and increase in value. There's a lot of sick puppies out there (pun intended).

Mark my words Mark, this kid will be back and the shoes will be worth something. In fact, I wouldn't doubt if someone (Nike) might just buy them all right now in hopes to resell them later at a higher price. He is argueably the best player the NFL has ever seen, very exciting to watch. He will be back. In fact, he might play in Europe or Canada, this season which would be a mistake if you're Atlanta.

If he can play in Europe or Canada from jail he certainly is the greatest player the NFL has ever seen.

Even if he wasn't in jail, there is no way that Vick could play in Canada or Europe.
- the CFL passed a "Ricky Williams" rule after last year, saying that anyone under NFL suspension is not eligible to play in the CFL in Canada.
- The NFL owned the European League. They shut it down after the completion of last year's schedule and they have no plans for starting it up again. If they did, Vick still wouldn't be eligible to play because of his NFL suspension.

Except if it's Michael Vick. Let's get one thing straight, Vick ain't going to jail. If he does, that will be the worse job of representing a superstar player that any crew of attorney's could ever do. Don't see that happening. Now, if America keeps putting the screws to him, expect to see him in Canada or some other country making a lot of money.

This thread should die now. It can only go one way, and it's already heading that way.
